Jared's good friend from high school was in town for the month and they celebrated their sons birthday while they were here. Brandon loved riding the horse, watching the horse, feeding the horse, riding the horse watching the horse, and it went on and on. He was oblivious to everything else going on at the party. He was even oblivious to the cute cowboy hat they gave him, and he kept it on! Thanks Nick, Jamie, and Spencer for inviting us. We had a great time!!!

Heber Valley Railroad

We have been wanting to go on the Heber Valley Railroad ever since we moved to Heber so we were so excited to go last weekend with the Bowman's. It was a beautiful three hour drive through Provo canyon. Brandon was having the time of his life, he loved listening to the train blow it's whistle!

Girls Day with my Nieces

Last weekend my three nieces came with Jared's parents for the weekend, so I took the girls for the day while Wyn and Dee Ann took care of Brandon. We had a great time hiking Mount Timpanogos and going through the amazing caves. It was a first for each of us. After the caves and the hike we went to Thanksgiving Point for lunch and to visit the Dinosaur Museum. Last but not least we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It is a beautiful temple it was so fun to see it with them. We had a great and very tiring day. It was so fun to get to know them better, and finally be able to spend some time with them (they live in Idaho so it doesn't happen often.)
