CHOO CHOO CHOO BRANDON IS TWO!

I am still amazed that I have a two year old, how did that happen?
Planning a birthday party should not be as much fun as it was - but I loved doing it, I am already looking forward to the next big party to plan.
This year Brandon has shown a great interest in trains - so it was natural that we throw him a train party. Brandon loved how his choo choo cake turned out, and for two days every time he woke up from a nap he would ask to have his train cake - it was hard waiting! We had my family and my two grandma's come to our place for a BBQ. Brandon loved all the fun presents and I think my family had a lot of fun playing with them and with him as well. The next day was his actual birthday we had a little party with Nicole, McKell, and cousin Chandler. I knew that while it was fun to make the trains and hats there was little chance of me getting a picture of all the little conductors, but to my surprise they actually cooperated and let us take lots of pictures. (ensuring that at least one would turn out. :)) I think they look so cute! After taking pictures of the group we pushed them around and let them ride in the trains, they thought it was a lot of fun - but it was a lot of work for us mom's, next time I will attach a rope or something. :)Dana lent me her very large train cookie cutter. So ridiculous, and so fun! :) We had a lot of fun decorating the train cookies. :)Brandon learned that if you fill a spoon with frosting and then dip it into the mm's you can have a great snack - forget the cookie. :)Brandon had so much fun opening up each present and then wanting to play with them right away. Thanks everyone for the very fun gifts! We can't wait to start playing with them! After the party with the friends we had a quiet little party at home opening the rest of presents. He loved his Harold the Helicopter! After opening presents we went to dinner at the Train Restaurant - so Yummy! It is so fun to be able to eat a tasty little meal and then have fun toys to play with afterwards!Even Jared could not resist the fun toys! :)The poor kid was tuckered out! Happy Birthday Brandon! We love you!!!! We can't wait to see what fun surprises lay in store for the next year!

What a fun birthday party!!! Did you make the cake? It was SO cute! What fun ideas and a great theme to run with. The first thing I thought of was that you had to have gone to the restaurant to see the train! :)
