I think the pictures do a great job of explaining both the need and desire for new counter tops, sinks, and faucets. No matter how hard I cleaned, how abrasive of a product I used I could not get rid of the stains, and yucky build up. The sink was leaking terribly, which caused mold to build up behind the back splash, the previous owners tried to hide it by using large amounts of caulk, which was finally peeling away from the wall and tearing off the paint. The disposer barely worked, and the sink was chipped and cracked. During the replacement we learned that the drains were also cracked and rusted. YUCK!! Hooray for the tax refund which allowed to make these improvements!
