My cute puppy dog!

This was Brandon's first year trick-or-treating! He was sure we were torchering him. :) He did not want to wear his puppy costume for anything! And the whole idea of knocking on others doors didn't sound very exciting. However after a few houses he started to really enjoy himself, although he still did not understand that this was a receiving holiday where you get the treats - he kept taking treats out of his bucket and tried to give them to each house. So cute. :) I wish he was always this great about sharing. ;) His favorite part of the evening was meeting up with his two friends "Little Red Riding Hood " McKell, and "Ballerina" Nicole. They were so cute in their costumes. I wish I had thought to take many more pictures!

Halloween Fun

This year Mama Julie hosted a very fun Halloween party for Brandon and Chandler. We enjoyed coloring and decorating Halloween pictures.Making carmel popcorn. (which was nothing short of AMAZING!!!!) We also made yummy Halloween Oreo cookies!Eating orange Mac and Cheese.Chandler was loving his lunch until his mean mommie acidentally spilled her milk. Look at his face! :)But the best part of the day was being able to play with cousins, aunts, and uncles as well as grandma!! And having Chandler out of his cast was the icing on the cake!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAGGIE

Maggie is 3 years old today!!! I am still so happy we brought her home nearly three years ago!We are celebrating her birthday by getting her groomed and then giving her a super cute pink argyle sweater.
She will also be getting doggie snacks, bones, and a fancy dinner. :)This year we harvested lost of yummy sweat carrots, so I also made a yummy carrot cake and Maggie got to have a small piece. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAGGIE!!! We sure do love having you in our family!!!

Lad I don't know where you been, but I see you won first prize

While Jared and I were living Oregon this song would come on the radio every Friday morning. ( I don't remember the station) We both thought it was hilarious!!!! So the other day we were reminiscing about Oregon and this song came up in the conversation- I wondered if you could find it on play list, so I looked, and sure enough there it was. So I have added it to my list for your entertainment. I must warn you however - it is a bit naughty. :)

Neglect = Catch-up

Last week Brandon and I went with Chandler, Natalie, Scott and Mama Julie to the zoo. I have been looking forward to this ever since I learned that one of our elephants was expecting. She had a baby girl in September named Zuri - and she is so very cute and so small (in comparison:))We had so much fun watching Zuri run around, play with the ball, and cuddle up to her mom.Isn't she darling!!!!!!Scott was a great help since I forgot the stroller, Brandon was very sad when it came time to say good by - such a fun uncle!Brandon finally tried a drink form the lions head - a hogle zoo tradition. :)I love all the babies right now - the baby giraffe is also darling and so fun to watch. She is very small measuring in at 7 + feet.Of course we had to play on the tigers. My poor nephew Chandler broke his leg so he is in a large cast covering his entire right leg, his hips, and part of his left leg. I just breaks my heart to see little kids hurt but he is doing so well! He army crawls everywhere and he is still very cheerful and agreeable - Chandler is one tuf little boy!!!Again more baby animals to love. These tigers are getting bigger and bigger each time I see them, but they are always active and fun to watch! The carousel was a great way to end our trip to the zoo! Yeah for Natalie Chandler Scott and Mama for making our trip so fun!And last but not least the fun ball covered in water. :) Brandon was soaked. :)

For Activity Day's we did a service project "Adopt a Grandma / Tea Party". It was a hit! The girls each made darling invitations for their grandmas and then hosted a great tea party. They helped with the decorations, making the cucumber, and ham and apple sandwiches, as well as all of the clean up. I think they and the grandmas had a great time getting to know each other. We played games like, pass the parcel, the thimble game (one of my favorites), and whats missing. We ate yummy finger foods like sugar cookies, chocolate cookies, lemon squares, grapes and strawberries, and sandwiches, and of course we had tea. I enjoyed the food so much that Jared and I have become wanna-be English people. We watch our British comedies EVERY night and enjoy a cup of tea occasionally accompanied with cucumber sandwiches or ham and apple sandwiches - YUM!!!! Doesn't that table look darling. ;) Many thanks to Dana for lending us her many tea decorations and dishes!
McKell had her 2nd birthday - it was so much fun! He birthday was centered around the classic story "The Hungry Caterpillar". We colored pictures of all the food the Caterpillar eats and we got to sample all the food.
Dana made such a cute (and yummy) Caterpillar cake!!!The kids each got to hatch out of their eggs with butterfly wings and antenna. The caterpillar hunt was probably Brandon favorite part of the day. He got to take home 5 caterpillars and we are still playing with them nearly a month later. :)McKell and Nicole are such cute little butterflies!

It's A ...............

BOY!!
Brandon is going to have a little brother to play with and wrestle with - YEAH! I am so happy that we get to have two boys. Now we just have to figure out what we are going to name him? This picture is the one that shows we are having a boy, although I must admit I don't see it?The next picture shows his darling little face. The adorable baby picture that only a mother could love. :)This is my favorite picture, it shows his hands. During the entire ultra sound he was moving and waving his hands all over the place, so fun! Looks like we will have two active little boys in the family. :)

We are half way there

I am finally at the point where I am loving being pregnant - YEAH! The baby is kicking and I love that feeling and the daily confirmation that I really do have a living child inside me, so fun! This coming Friday we are going for our ultra sound appointment, I can't wait to find out what we are having. I do not have any suspicions this time around as to what it might be. With Brandon I was sure it was going to be a boy - I was right! This time - who knows? This pregnancy has been different from Brandon's so some would suggest that it must be a girl. Either way I of course will be happy. I would love a boy because than we have everything we need already, and lets face it boys are for the most part easier - especially if you are like me and don't know how to do hair, or play dolls, or do most girl things. But I would also love a girl because I want to have a daughter to cook with and be friends with like I am with my mom. Besides that girls are much more fun to buy clothes for.

So what do you think we will be having? I have set up a poll on the side bar, I would love to see what you all think. :)
